The Low Energy Nuclear Physics Group has an opening for a post-doctoral research fellow in Nuclear Data.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and well qualified candidate who can take a leading role in a research program that utilizes the unique capabilities of Gammasphere spectrometer for gamma-ray studies following beta decay of neutron-rich nuclei produced at the CARIBU facility. A significant aspect of this work will include analysis of gamma-ray spectroscopy data and their publications in high-impact scientific journals.

We expect you to have:

  • Solid knowledge of nuclear structure physics and experience in analysis of gamma-ray spectroscopy data are desirable
