Argonne National Laboratory Technician II/III - Electro-Mechanical in Lemont, Illinois
Under supervision operates and maintains facility infrastructure equipment and completes compliance activities in the assigned facility. Responsibilities include performing required facility surveillance requirements activities (e.g., setup, inspections, testing, quality assurance and calibration of safety systems) on schedule, maintaining records associated with facility activities, operating facility systems as trained/instructed, maintaining facility equipment, and interfacing with and engineering and maintenance personnel. Help maintain logs and technical documentation by taking measurements and recording observations related to electro-mechanical system maintenance, system performance, and system modifications. Must maintain knowledge and awareness of laboratory policies and procedures. Maintains awareness of the Laboratory ES&H policies and procedures and works in compliance on a day-to-day basis.
Position Requirements
TECHNICIANS MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT COMBINATION:
TECH II- Associate degree and 1 year of experience or equivalent
TECH III- Associate degree and 3 years of experience or equivalent
